INITIAL CONSULTATION

This is the first time you and your doula will meet. With a more detailed look at what’s offered, we will find the most ideal package for you and your family. It’s important to be certain it’s a good fit before making any commitments.

TWO PRENATAL VISITS (virtual or in person)

As you and your doula continue to get to know each other, you will discuss your ideal birth experience. You and your doula will work together to create a birth preference sheet so everyone on your birth team knows what they can do to help you best. In these prenatal visits you will also practice mental and physical relaxation techniques and explore various labour positions and other comfort methods that might be right for you. This also provides for the perfect opportunity to envision and clarify what an ideal postpartum life looks like for your family. After the second prenatal visit, time spent with your doula must come to an end as you prepare for your baby’s arrival.

• 24/7 email availability for the duration of the contract

*Your investment is $350 if your trained doula is completing certification.
